Ewa Habryn-Wilczynska – Sinusoidal Feelings – Author’s Evening; Sunday 19 October 2025 4 PM šŸ—“

Polish ClubĀ Sikorski cordially invites you to a meeting with the Poetry Group ā€œJeszcze razā€, which will take place on Sunday, 19 October 2025, at 4:00 PM.

During the event, poems by Ewa Habryn-Wilczyńska will be presented. Ewa was born in ŁódÅŗ and has lived in Australia since 1989. She has been writing poetry for many years, but it was her collaboration with the Poetry Group ā€œJeszcze razā€ that allowed her to share her work with a wider Polish audience.

The title of the evening — ā€œSinusoidal Feelingsā€ — is no coincidence. The symbolic axis of the sine wave reflects two chapters of the author’s life: the one ā€œabove the equatorā€ and the one ā€œbelow it.ā€ Her poetry reveals emotions that fluctuate between positive and negative — just as human life and experiences constantly shift and shape each person’s unique journey.

Ludzie, dokąd wyście przyjechali – Theatre, Friday 3rd October 2025 at 7:30PM šŸ—“

Krzysztof Kaczmarek in Alek Silber’s monodrama ā€œPeople, Where Have You Come To?ā€

A story of losing a home and finding a new one. A tale of migration, disappointment, and success.

Australia, the early 1960s – an unknown and distant land where everything feels old-fashioned, backward, and foreign. A young man, Alek, struggles to find himself in a reality that has taken away his love, his friends, his beloved Warsaw, and the life he once knew.

Will he overcome the isolation? Will he ever return to the places he loved? Will he ever call Australia his home?

Based on the memories of Alek Silber, this monodrama takes the audience on a journey through time. Krzysztof Kaczmarek paints vivid portraits of a migrant’s life – hopes, failures, and the joys of building a new existence in an unfamiliar world.
