General Sikorski Club together with Father Leonard from the Greenmount Parish invite everyone to the traditional Polish Wafer in the Polish Club in the Main Hall at 1:00 PM. The hall will be specially decorated.
The Wafer Sharing is planned as follow:
- Lighting a candle
- Singing Christmas Carols
- Reading of the Gospel passage according to Luke 2:1-20
- Blessing of wafers, prayer and explanation of the meaning of breaking the wafer
- Breaking wafers and making wishes to each other
- Singing Christmas carols
- Refreshments – The kitchen will prepare an inexpensive traditional Christmas Eve meal
