“Spring” – as a monodrama – was created from the adaptation of the short story under the same title. From the perspective of 40 years, from the perspective of the current Polish reality, the Spring has become a document of that reality of Polish sport and system of government. In the format of the monodrama – a black grotesque – painfully shows the rotten morality surrounding our hero, a simple, naïve man whose faith in the sense of success and family life, would be confined in the power of the blow, in his tighten fists” (S. But “Spring” is also about each of us and our ability to find ourselves in a reality that does not necessarily resonate with our imaginations.
