We invite you to the author’s evening of Mrs. Barbara Nawratowicz, co-founder, actress and singer of Krakow’s Piwnica Pod Baranami, a long-time journalist of Radio of Free Europe. This evening will be combined with the promotion of her book “Cabaret Piwnica Pod Baranami. A phenomenon in the culture of the People’s Republic of Poland”, which can be purchased with the autograph of Mrs. Barbara. The culmination of this evening will be recreation of some pieces of the cabaret “Piwnica pod Baranami” performed by our great Artistic Group: Anna Gołąb, Anna Pastusiak, Maciej Prusiński, Robert Panasiewicz and Tomasz Bujakowski.

General Sikorski Club and Polonia WA invite you to the Festival
at the General Sikorski Club on Saturday, November 13, 2021.
We will celebrate regaining independence by Poland!
Let’s make this day white and red colours!
It will be a Family Festival, starting from 3 PM to 10 PM.
The official opening and special performances of Kukuleczka are scheduled around 4 PM.
In the large hall there will be an exhibition ‘Independence of Poland’ prepared by the Association of Former Polish Political Prisoners.
Bring your family and friends, we warmly invite you, there will be fun for all ages. Dance, raffle, jumping castle for children, artistic corner and special dances of the Polish Folklore Dance Group Kukułeczka!
There will be traditional Polish dishes to eat:
Sausage sizzle, bigos, dumplings, tripe soup and more. And also a selection of delicious Polish cakes and sweets along with coffee and tea.
The bar will also be open offering a great selection of Polish and European beers.
During the official Ceremony President Vlodek Bilski thanked the most generous benefactor to the Polish Club in 2021 – Mr Mirek Rynkiewicz. Mirek donated to the Club beautiful European floor and wall tiles to the value of over $12,000! Big Thank you Mirek!
We have to add that Mirek’s wife Renata designed décor of the Function Room bathroom facilities, and she did it for free! Thank you, Renata!
And the tiles were masterfully laid by Mirek’s son Lukas Rynkiewicz – thank you Lukas, job well done!

Please join us at the Sikorski Club for the “Gus’ Fearless Fight” Fundraising Gala on Saturday 18th of September at 6:30pm.
Augustyn fondly known as Gus or Gucio is 4 years old and on 2nd of May 2021 Gus’ little world changed beyond comprehension. Gus was diagnosed with Acute Lymphoblastic Leukaemia (ALL). At that moment his life and the life of his mum Lindsay, dad Michael, and younger sister Edith changed in an instant. The financial burden on the family is immediate with both parents caring for Gus, doing tag team at his bedside, while also caring for Edith.
Sikorski Club is organising this Gala Ball to support Gus and his Family at this difficult time. All the proceeds from this Event will go to the Weryk Family.
