The Poetic Group Jeszcze Raz once again invites you to a remarkable artistic event – a poetic performance dedicated to camp poetry written during World War II. This time, the creators will present their work in a unique format, combining poetry, music, and multimedia elements to give voice to those who survived and those who left their testimonies in words.
The performance is divided into two parts, each with a distinct character, yet forming a cohesive whole.
The first part, directed by Bart Foster, will take place on the main stage and promises to be a true artistic spectacle. The audience will experience a powerful blend of beautiful music, evocative visuals, and moving recitations enriched with elements of theatrical performance. The multimedia setting and modern form of storytelling will make this an event like no other seen before at the Polish Club. It will be an artistic journey through the words of camp poets whose voices endured despite tragic circumstances and are now brought back to life in a powerful new form.
The second part of the performance – directed by Danuta Duszyńska – will take on a more intimate tone. This segment will focus on personal memories and reflections, presented by the artists and the family members of those who experienced life in the camps. The atmosphere will allow for a deeper, more personal connection to the emotions carried by camp poetry – pain, hope, and remembrance.
This event is not only a tribute to poets and witnesses of history, but also a rare opportunity to engage with difficult yet important topics through an artistic lens. We warmly invite everyone who wishes to experience deep emotion and honor the literary testimony of the past.
🍽️ The bar and restaurant will be open before and after the event – we warmly invite you to enjoy Polish food and drinks as part of the evening.
Join us in preserving memory and culture — with reflection, connection, and community.
